Why Give
Regardless of what their backgrounds are, kids are kids and they respond to camp. They respond to the cabin leaders and to the whole experience in similar ways and leave camp with more confidence in themselves and with the tools to help them make the right choices in life.
Each year in Southern California, nearly 2,000 deserving low-income children ages 8 to 17 experience the great outdoors at The Salvation Army's Pine Summit Camp nestled among 44 acres of old Oaks and giant Ponderosa Pines in beautiful Big Bear Lake.
Please give to help us send 2,000 inner city, under-served children to camp!
Where to Give
Pine Summit has many needs. It takes a lot of planning and a lot of supplies to provide kids with the wonderful experiences they get to have here.
